..talking to Lolo Puti yesterday, Juniel's mama has already been promised a new house. Designer Jahn Aamodt, in charge of the Norwegian registered company http://www.designforneed.no, contacted Lolo Puti and gave her one of their designed houses built for poor people. They just need to find a vacant lot for her.
The web page is in Norwegian, but I guess you will get an idea of the house, looking at this presentation. It can actually be wrapped up and moved to a new lot quite easily.
We've also received interest from people wishing to help with the medical bills, depending on the cost of course.
It warms to see that her life situation seems to improve in the near future, and that we have readers who wish to contribute. Before meeting Lolo Puti, we didn't post much about charity here on Ycebu. If we can manage to help some poor Filipinos getting a better life, we'll continue doing so. We will report every case and follow up with pictures about the development.
We'll also continue to focus on the expat life, travel and other sides than charity like before.
