Helgeland Sparebank in northern Norway has been clearly visible also in Negros, Philippines. Through the Bridgebuilders Foundation in Sandnessjøen, the bank donated earlier a lot of nice second hand equipment to the Norwegian GK Child Project in San Carlos City. They have now managed to build a football team with 75 participants. Some of these are children who previously lived with their parents under a bridge in the city's outskirts.The group is divided into five age classes and practice three days a week and take part in local tournaments. Both boys and girls are participating.
